How many times have you heard a presenter say, just before answering a question?: “Good question.”
How does it sound? Pretty hackneyed, right?
It just takes a litle bit of effort to say: “Good question because it allows me to get to the heart of the subject/I can highlight something really important).” With this the person feels more valued, the rest of the audience perceive it and it can make the answer more persuasive (and you too).
